Project Information

I made this for my wife from a piece of a discarded pallet. The wood is oak. This may have been for our 5th anniversary, in 1971 (we just had our 54th a couple of months ago.). My tools were a pocket knife, and a (about) #2 gouge I made from a broken screwdriver. After she received it, she wanted one with my initials. The neighbors across the street saw them and wanted a pair; the neighbors next door also. Her brother and his wife also wanted a pair… I ended up making several more sets. She still has ours, hanging in her office/craft room. Approximately 4×5 inches.

Very nice! Think of all that time you could of saved if only you had a CNC machine:) Sorry couldn't help myself, not quite the same as when a "machine" produces it! Curious, any DNA (Blood) left on it?

Jus my weird sense of humor and amusement that some people actually consider CNC projects as carvings?
Pretty sure Claude's one drop of blood would have more talent at carving than me:) (Or any CNC machine)

That's very nice. I took a couple of stabs at carving some oak, but didn't go too far.
