Project Information

Picked up a Preppin' Weapon sanding block about a week ago and it's been amazing so far, I cut up some sand paper to size (60, 150, and 220 grit) and afterwards I decided I needed a place to store the sanding block as well as the sized sandpaper. This is what I came up with, made with some scrap plywood, drilled some finger holes, used brad nails and glue to put it together. Nothing groundbreaking here, but a nice quick project to keep everything together and tidy. I'll be making a similar thing for my random orbit sander and sanding discs as well as my DIY sanding sticks/dowels. Any comments/questions are much appreciated, thanks for looking!

Nice, I like the idea. I'll be making one similar, but will have access on the long side so I can mount it with a french cleat. thanks for sharing.

This is an interesting set of sanding blocks. They look like they might work very well. You have also made a very nice organizer for them. Congratulations.

They are really well made, a bit on the spendy side (around $20) but I'm beyond happy with it. I plan to get 2 more eventually, one for each grit, and remake the holder to accommodate them. Thanks, I really appreciate the comment!
