Project Information

I made this one day about seven years ago, a scaled down version of it's larger cousin.
I had the larger, pine one for about 30 years… bought it off of a friend who had picked it up at a yard sale. It's seen a lot of camping trips and barbecues, held TV's, and generally proved itself useful…
I wanted a smaller one, chair height, and made from some "nicer" hard wood… had some Oak… and there you have it!!
It has shown up in a few places on these pages before, but it occurred to me that I had never posted it as a project… until today… :)

Nice compact table, Mike. Is there a blog of its construction anywhere?

Thanks Martyn, but sorry, no blog, this was Pre-Lumberjocks… Regrettably, I never took pix back in those days… I didn't think anybody would ever be interested!!

Very nice looking table, Mike.
The top looks like it has some heft to it… not like those cheap Walmart types!

Nice sturdy looking little table, Mike. I think I may have to make one of these for our deck.

It's going to take another 30 years for you to give the smaller one the same character as the old one. LOL
Good job Mike.

Looks good for camping, the last camping trips we've been on seems like we'd be better
off buying a camper. Fold aways are always handy!!!!
