Project Information

The wood is red oak. The miters are connected together with glue and biscuits. The frame and hooks are fabricated using aluminum. all were bent, drilled, polished with buffing compound and assembled using stainless steel screws.

The rack and the pans were a Christmas present to my wife.

I hope you enjoy !

Wow, that looks great. I am sure your wife is thrilled. I recently priced pot racks and was astonished at how much they cost! Great job.

Thanks, you are right on both accounts, and I get to look at it a lot. It's mounted above our kitchen table.
The only sore spot is the fact that, at the same time I built a small wall mounted oak table that she does not care for. I think she really wants a larger kitchen. "LOL" I'll post pictures in a few days. Check in, I hope that I am not the only one that likes it.

It is a good design, Gene. I like the combination of wood and metal. I'll bet Mama baked you an apple pie.
