Wow Bob! You guys that are using plywood in your projects have changed my mind about Plywood. This is an Awesome work of art. It's really a beautiful vase. Love the finish and all the playful woods going in all directions. So nice! Love it!

Awesome! Glad you didn't run into any voids in the plywood. Every time I think about using it in some sort of "visible" fashion I can't find any in my stash without voids…

A 3" chunk of plywood? where did you get that!!... obviously a LVL beam offcut?

Have you got any construction pickies?
It would be good to see the preparation stage.

Certainly a great result Bob.

I am yet to find a supplier of the coloured ply.

Hi Rob,
The only place I know of is Cousineau Wood Products in the US. It's called "Spectraply" so if you Google that it should help.
Yes, the piece came from a LVL beam, sadly I didn't take progress photos. I'll try to remember next time.
