Project Information
I made some plantation shutters using the Woodline router bits and plans, with a few of my own modifications.
Louvers are actuated from behind with a home-made hidden control rod.
Frame is contructed of poplar, shutter components are made from basswood
This is the first window, I plan to do several more as time allows.
My least favorite part is the paint job, so I invested in a paint sprayer for the rest.
All in all, quite a difficult (and time consuming) project for one of my first woodworking projects, LOTS of trial and error, but I'm happy with how they turned out.
