Project Information

Got tired of lugging this thing on and off a workbench when I wanted to use it. Got the plans from Woodsmith.

I didn't build the drawer or outfeed table. I'll probably get to the drawer next weekend, but, I'm not sure I'll build the outfeed system. I usually rough cut my pieces close to length before joining and planing, and so I rarely plane anything over 3 or 4 feet. I might wait until I have a project I need this on, like maybe a good workbench when I get around to it.

Still need to apply stain and poly.

Nice stand, I made one similar to this one weekend after I got tired of lugging my planer around as well.

for small shops, this stand is a must. The planer must be one of the heaviest pieces of equipment we use, considering it's portable size
