Project Information

I feel like these are as common as making cutting boards around here, or maybe it's just the posts I search out. But here is my planer cart. Fits under the table saw wing nicely when not in use. Locking casters, and a piece on drawer slides to get it out easier. My little craftsman jointer fit up top too.

Totally agree, very very common build…. but then again you can't have anough of them…. an orginized shop is a happy one….

Please don't let something being commonplace stop you. Every one of these posted it has some little twist that makes it different. For someone like me who is still new, I learn a lot by looking at them and find new ways to improve my own shop.

Thank you for posting. The white paint and trim work really gives it a very clean look.

Nicely done.

What, if anything, do you do about infeed/outfeed tables-both to facilitate handling longer pieces, and-maybe more importantly-to reduce snipe ?

Thanks for posting this…..

I've only had to run one big thing through so far. I have a 'workmate' clampy bench thing (that make sense?) that was a hand me down from my grandpas old shop. I can line it up to hold the piece coming out. That, and me running around to hold it, has worked ok so far.

Hmm.. I'm thinking it could have winged pieces on hinges that came up.

That ^ IS how some people do it, Josh.

You obviously still could, if you need to. Just something to keep in mind as/if/when you do anything else to the stand.

I'm using roller stands for long pieces. Works fine, but … of course … it's a bit of a hassle.
