Project Information

While visiting my son & his family in Arkansas a few years ago. He said he had been looking at entertainment centers, but he couldn't find anything that he really liked. So I sat down, & started drawing sketches of different plans, & we came up with this.

Because of the size, the cabinet was built in two pieces, & the shelf units are removable boxes. We decided to build the bottom section with drawers instead of shelves. The drawers with dividers are ideal for storing CD's & tapes.
As you can see, we chose pre-laminated pine boards for the carcase. The cabinet was finished with Watco Oil Mahogany finish.
The project was completed in a week.
