Project Information

I wanted a picnic table that had benches that will not tip over. This is for a home that we rent as a vacation home and I did not want people to be able to tip over a bench. It was also important that it would sit 8 people comfortably. I looked around the net for quite a while till I found this design. I used pressure treated instead of cedar for the beach environment that it is going to be in. I built it in my shop in Fl, disassembled it, trucked it to the outer banks, and reassembled it.

Thanks for looking

Thanks for all the kind words. It has worked out very well. It also is very good at being steady with an umbrella on a windy day.
