Project Information

Needed an Umbrella stand, moveable was on the list. Cut the round base with a router circle jig. I had to raise the umbrella about 8" as most are made for a table. the Wild Turkey Bourbon barrel is about 35" high 21" round. I used 1" black pipe, a flange at the base and 8" section with coupling to raise the mast and added 12" pipe for stability. The top hole is 1 3/4" and the bottom 2 1/2" with a 1/4 in recess to allow flush mounting to the bottom of the barrel. Four 3" swivel casters with a brake from Home Depot.

Great idea and well done.
