Workshop Information

This is before a simple dust collection piping. (and before cleaning up!).

I use Visio to sketch out the shop layout, and for project layout.

I finished the basement, (photo #4), so now I get to work on the workshop. (I did NOT make the cabinets behind the bar, but I intended to. That's why I bought the router bits to begin with. I just didn't have the time - my wife wanted everything done ASAP, which worked out to be 1 year start to finish)

The fifth picture is the calculations for the dust collector ducting. I ended up with a different configuration, running 4" all the way to the BS, and using the Y at the DC for flex hose to the TS or planer. It is however, an example of how to do the math. What you learn quickly is to use 6" if your collector can handle it, but at least 4". I had bought some 2 1/2 tubing, but I realized it's not even worth installing.
