Project Information

The aim of this test was to determine horizontal and vertical straight lines, limits and ratios.
Since I have few holes very close to each other, all ratios are simmilar so I put set up with 1,8 :1 vertical and 1,9 : 1 horizontal ratio - on sample 10×60 cm - turned out some 5,5×30 cm.
Regarding limits, the table I used is big enough to make signs aprox. 12,5×30 cm.
I had some trouble to make parallel lines with bottom edge of the table, so in order to make parallel sign I had to angle bottom guide slat some 0,5 degree on right side.
Same problem was to make vertical line - I angled vertical guide for some 1 degree to the right.
That way I determined how I have to put carving pattern to make correctly alligned sign - horizontaly and verticaly in relation to the table edges.
Last, I made some irregular shape and carved it in ratio determined.
Still, I have to test various fonts and shapes, in future.
