Panel Carrier & Dolly

I have to admit that I'm not getting any younger so I need some helpers carrying sheet goods.
Out of some old scrap cut offs of whatever I found in front of me I quickly made a Panel Carrier to bring the sheets from the car inside the shop and a Panel Dolly with a clamp at the height of my lumber rack, to roll the sheets near my table. The Dolly can carry two or one 3/4 sheets and is long enough for better balance and has 4 office chair casters.
They both work perfectly but … you can do them as nice as you like.

Thanks for watching and all comments & suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Nice work Stelios. Necessity is the mother of invention ;) I need one of those too. My shoulder no longer likes it when I haul sheets of plywood.

You always hear to work smarter, not harder. This will save your body from some aches in the future. Nice one Stelios.

Hey Pottz buddy thank you!
I am not so lucky to have my car even close (at least 70 feet away) to my small shop door, plus I need to climb 3-4 steps to get that's why the carrier and my lumber cart its by the door so I have to pull the sheet, step down the stairs to get it of and push it back into the shop, that why the dolly… each of us does its best according to his circumstances I think

I love it. Great idea. I have been thinking about one of these for a long time. I'm too old to carry sheet goods any more. The dolly makes a lot of sense..it sure was smart of the cave man to invent the wheel!!

cheers, Jim

Thanx Jim.
is true Jim that sometimes we overlook simple projects that will make our effort easier, and only when we say ouchhh that hearts we go around making them.
I believe there's no reason at all to lift sheet goods at any age when there's an easy way doing it !!!

NOTE:
A note after using them for some time.
The carrier works just fine and as is suppose to.
The dolly though, well I found a few things to improve it or make it easier to function… The pressure clamp it works better if it's in the center and is much easier for the groove/dado if its width is for a single 3/4 sheet than a double one I did here, with chamfer edges.
