Thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments, it's words like that which keep me inspired to always strive for uniqueness in my works. As a general rule, when I do a complete homes' trim package I save the design of the focal items such as mantels and stair railing systems till the end as in most cases the inspiration for those items will come to me from the feelings that the house gives off and/or the personalities of the client. Note: I found a repeating heart pattern in the grain of one sheet of cherry plywood that I saved aside and used it in the tops of the mantel side legs as I knew that Pam liked hearts…
