A little practice in carving… or just an excuse for a feather necklace?
I accidentally made far more feathers than needed but it was fine because it provided plenty of "test" feathers.
Carved in pine. Colored with wood spirit dye in "mahogany" and then lightly sanded for the gradient effect. Strung on leather.
