Project Information

There are shields #32-#34 that I have created. These are the first that I made using 1/2 Baltic Birch. In some ways i like the Birch above the Pine, but each have their intrinsic value. It appeared that while engraving, the birch generated"finer" dust particles than the pine plywood that i normally use. The birch also felt sturdier than the pine. Meanwhile, the pine has less invisible voids, more easily attainable (through recycled wood collecting), and cheaper.
