Project Information

Here is a farmhouse style table I just completed for stock

It is 30"H x 36"W x 84"L, made from "wormy" reclaimed urban white oak, poplar and maple turned legs.

The legs are attached with intersecting haunched mortise and tenons. The stretchers are attached with half blind dovetails.

I started the finishing process with a shot of GF medium brown dye stain, covered with one coat of EmTech 9000sc.
Shown below after a light sanding.

Then I sprayed 2 coats of GF crimson red milk paint (thinned about 15-20%), followed by a coat of 9000sc.

The final color was GF sage, followed by another coat of 9000sc.

The top is finished with 3 coats of EmTech 8000cv

I like the milk paint finish. I am envious of your spray setup.

Thanks.
This turned out exactly as I had imagined it…... and that's the goal!
