Project Information

Office Chair made from Walnut-My first office chair made out of Walnut and the back spindles are out of Mesquite. The back has a handshaped lumbar support and the chair swivels and adjusts the tilt forward or back. There is a carved seat and handshaped arms and headrest. This is a good looking desk chair for any office.

I wouldn't take this to work…I'd leave it at home. Just a great piece of workmanship Scott.

You know, I don't think this chair has a single straight line at all. Makes it really "flow". Nice job.

Scott,
Thanks for sharing this. It is a great example of the fien craftsmanship you exhibit in all your pieces. I need to learn to build chairs and I need one for my office. This might be the inspiration I need to get to it. Keep 'em coming.

another wonderful chair Scott!! I like the swivel application, something I haven't seen in the Maloof Styling before, and it worked very nicely, and makes it useable in a desk application. I love walnut!

I'm envious! My office is asking us if we need new chairs (some of the chairs around here are ancient), but your chair doesn't appear to be in the catalog they sent around :(

Very nice. Where did you obtain the chair adjust/swivel mechanism?

Makes me want to sit down. All the time. Too bad I'm too high strung for that…
