Project Information

Since I can't throw anything out I had to use up some leftover pieces. Top is mulberry. Aprons and drawer front are cherry slabs. Legs are cherry that wasn't even fit for a pallet. Finished with oil and poly mix. Cracks stitched on bottom side with biscuit slots and homemade biscuits to fill the entire hole. Drawer isn't even a square box since I needed it to fit the odd shaped top. Legs had some rot that needed trimmed off and I. Had to fill a few craters with some epoxy.

Beautiful piece! The fact you made it all out of scraps is even better. I had never seen Mulberry before but glad I have now that slab is incredible.

I thought I was the only mulberry fan here!
Great job on this beauty. And it will get prettier the more it ages.

It looks fantastic! Like the gorgeous top and cool drawers. The cracks and the rot just add character to it. Great job!
