Project Information

My first try at gluing up oak wood into a shelf. The final size is 15×21, with a 1 inch decorative edge attached to the shelf. The wood is natural color with 2 coats of clear satin polyurethane. The shelf is in my liquor cabinet, because the other shelf in it was moved to another cabinet in my bedroom

My apologies for the one picture posting sideways

Good work. You've learned a step that's part of most larger projects-how to glue up a panel. Much of what you accomplished will be useful in many other types of assemblies.

I like that you're taking things one step at a time. Too many who are just starting out try to tackle something beyond their skill level.
