Project Information

Father-in-law cut down a large burl and gave me the wood. As a little x-mass present, he received a new buck skinner with some burl he collected from his backyard. A big thank you to Walter Sorrells, he has some amazing tutorials on youtube that covered all the steps in helping this little project out. I took his approach of creating the mosaic pins, although they didn't turn out as nice, a little sloppy but not bad for my 1st attempt.

The picture above is actually a second knife I made for a neighbor because he loved the first one I made.

not bad indeed, beautiful burl and the pins turned out great.you might want to strengthen the small void with some dark epoxy, just to avoid that chipping off,but i love it,great job.
