Oak and Walnut Mission Style Box

Very cool looking! I never would have thought to use a sash lock on a box, but it really works well in the design.

This is one awsome box, with all those inlays and other unique details!

A lovely box but I think the metal hinges an screws don't do it any justice try making wooden hinges they are not that difficult to make. But will set your boxes a world apart from the rest.

Finish is Walmart Rattle Can Lacquer. Several coats.

Not sure what to line it with … I have some hide on leather, but my wife thinks felt would be be best.
