My cramped, dusty (at least it's heated) shop that doubles a a garage and lumber storage. It occupies 2 1-1/2 car bays of a 4-car garage, so at least things are close together and I can separate rough from finish work. No apologies - it's a working shop and it suits me well. Of course we all know the shop is never big enough and we never have enough tools. My pride & joy is a 1978 Unisaw that I just rebuilt. After 45 years of doing this I am finally accumulating good tools. what a difference that makes! The old 10" Craftsman I bought new in 1970 did a pretty good job over the years though.

Hey Jim! Nice space sir! They made tools good back then, I like the crap made today. What type of woodworking do you do?

Thanks - my dusty old man cave! I'll try to build about anything, ranging from an oak staircase for my son to woodsheds for a couple of friends. My passion is Mission and Shaker furniture though. I posted a couple of projects a day or two ago.

Very nice Jim, looks like a great place to hang out! I have that same belt/disc sander. I use the belt, but not the disc….Welcome to LJ's and thanks for posting your shop..it looks like you can make nice stuff there. In fact I saw your projects…they are legacy projects….well done.

Thanks Moke, I looked for that sander for years while using a garage sale stripper. Notice it has the original, now unobtainable cast iron fence. It also has a dust collection shroud for both belt and disk. Don't know if it's a Sears accessory but it works very well.
