Project Information

This is my attempt at transitioning from working on cars to doing woodwork. Black walnut with some yellowwood and hard maple laminations. I have made many cutting boards from all the cut offs. This is the first that I actually purchased wood to make a cutting board. I use a mix of bee's wax, paraffin wax and mineral oil to keep it looking good. Heat all three in a small sauce pan then pout it into a jelly jar. It is like a paste wax for your hardwood cutting boards. I will post some pictures of my hand made planes and furniture soon. Very nice to see all your projects!
