Project Information

Since I watched Paul Sellers videos about sharpening chisels and plane-blades, I do my sharpening freehand. With a bit of practice, it works really well for me. The blades of my Kunz-spokeshaves are not easy to hold correctly while sharpening. So I made a holder for them, using two rare-earth-magnets, one screw and two pieces of wood I had laying around. The wing nut is sitting on the top.

Thanks a lot to all of you!
After testing it with two blades, I am really happy about how it gives much more control to the sharpening process.
