A big welcome to LJ's Deb, this is a fabulous opening piece to share with us & sure shows a high level of skills.
I had a peep at your Bio, you have had the advantage of some very high profile tutors.

Very interesting, but would like a few more particulars on it. I am almost certain it is turned, but very curious how the folding is done. And your coloring technique stands out. It must look much more stunning in person.

Yes this is a turned vase. To make the fold out it is a piece from another turn piece then glued in place and I used polymer clay to fill in the cracks.
