Project Information

This Peterbilt 389 tractor and Rogers 60 ton trailer is built against a real unit driven by my best friend who is the fleet manager for Sanitary Construction in Rockaway, NJ. It is made from Cherry and Walnut has over 300 pieces and took a hundred and twenty two hours to build it has been a really fun project. now I am on to another truck and trailer going to Texas which the trailer alone should be nine and a half feet long with all the pieces.

Thank you for the compliments. The model is 70 inches long. The trailer I did more suspension wise. With the fenders etc on the tractor and a lot of fragile details on it, I put less underneath to prevent people from wanting to pick it up and turn it over.

I hope this picture loaded right. It is a photo of the real unit this is built against. Thank you again for the compliments. I am away on a short trip, but will be home this evening. I will write about the build this week as I have time. I will also share how the next build is progressing if you all are interested. This is an awesome group and I'm so excited to be a part of it.
Best regards
Eric
