Project Information

Solid Honduran Mahogany. Drawer fronts are Solid Tiger Maple with Purpleheart cross-banding and Tiger Maple cock bead. 6 Dovetailed drawers (hand cut) 3 on front 3 on back. Square tapered legs with Holly stringing and berry inlay , 8 Holly sand-shaded ellipses (2 inlayed on each leg) legs also have a Laurel and Holly banding towards the bottom of leg. Top is book-matched Honduran Mahogany with a 14" Tiger Maple sunburst inlay in center and Purpleheart / Maple herringbone edge-banding. All inlays and bandings were made and sand-shaded completely by hand. Brass drawer pulls are ordered from Horton Brasses in Cromwell CT. 80 hours to complete. Designed and built by Stephen M. Skillins of Danvers MA.
