Nathan, This is a nice looking shop. It is also good to see the windows in there as well. It looks like you get quite of bit of natural light in your shop. And I am glad to see that you claimed the space for your shop. I put my shop in the third garage in our basement and could have had more space if I had added on the shop earlier. But we added finished living space first and any suggestion I have made about expanding my shop now that we do not need as much space by taking over some of the finished area is always greeted with an emphatic, NO!

You have a nice set of tools. I am sure your grandfather is proud that you are putting them to good use. I have several hand tools- planes, hammers etc.- that I inherited from my father and grandfather. It always gives me a great deal of pleasure to use them knowing that they once used these same tools when they were earning a living as carpenters.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

That IS a nice shop, and a GREAT collection of hand-me-down tools !

Do you live where there's severe weather ? The fact that you've got framing-for me-would be very cool. VERY easy to slap up OSB, on top of that, and allow you to hang whatever, wherever :)

And … insulation !

Thanks for sharing !
