Project Information
This is my friend Don's first bandsaw box! The inspirations came from Lumberjocks.com. He visited me and saw a couple of bandsaw boxes I made so we went to Lumberjocks.com and browsed through the many pages to look at the styles and types. Then we went to You Tube videos on how to make a bandsaw box. That was also inspiring not only for him but for me as well.
His wife also got involved in picking out styles and wood colors. She also picked out the drawer pull.
The front piece is redwood and the laminates are of pine, red oak and white oak.
Don spent a lot of time sanding his first bandsaw box down and it is smooth as a marble! He finished it with pure Tung Oil and then carnauba wax.
He is now starting his 2nd and 3rd bandsaw boxes.
