when i first got wind of bibb and deni's , rosewood deal .
i had been out of town for some time ,
and inquired if it was to late to get in on this deal .
after waiting for all the setbacks that arose ,
it turned out that i and fellow LJ'S ( fellaw ? )
margy , went to denver to save some shipping fees .
as luck would have it , we were the first ones there !
Al (bibb) had already sorted and sticker-ed the wood ,
so all we had to do was pick and pack .
i had been driving since 7:30 that morning ,
and it was 3:30 when we got there .
Al had to go and teach woodworking at 5:00 ,
so i didn't get to chat with him to much ,
but would like to thank him here again for his enthusiastic help .
from his logo , i thought he was a spaced out hippie ,
but it turns out he is a spaced out rocket scientist . lol
and thanks , margy , for the use of your truck and the company .
we ate , and came straight back to my place ,
arriving at 12:30 midnight ( long drive ! ) .
at 8:00 oclock last night , i coudn't wait any more .
i took a piece of 5/4×2' x4 1/2" , and started working it ,
to see what it was , and how it tooled .
WOW ! no more mr. pine problems for me .
i am in an epiphany , whole new life , new future ,
the tools loved rosewood , and i even went to oil/wax finnish .
the cresent moon is my signature in all my work .
it is bubinga and holly .
i have a total of 4 hours in this , and am staying open for the next
inspiration .
i dont want to waste a sliver of it , so will feel my way into it slowly
