Project Information

Well It's finally done. Built my first guitar with various amounts of teeth gnashing but it's looking pretty cool. Plays not too badly and sounds OK. If you want more details you can look on my blog about it.

Nice job! Any sound bites? Maybe a rift or two?

Very beautiful. Wish I could play a few riffs on it.

I like it. And I really like the finish. Don't usually see a SG style guitar that isn't painted. My brother has one that is ash with a natural finish. It looks great. Like the humbuckers too.

Fantastic! If it plays as nice as it looks, then I'd say it's concert ready. SG is my favorite style of solid body - not that I play.. I don't. But I do like looking at guitars. Rock on! :)

impressive build, congrats on completing it. I have an old 1965 SG standard that I will leave to my son who by the way plays much better than I ever could or can.
