My first go at a goblet

My brother has been asking me for a while to make a tankard for him. I thought a tankard was a bit boring so I decided to have a go at a kind of wine glass. Now, I turned the "glass" from one solid log from the garden and parted it off at the end.
This did cause as small problem as the piece did contain some rot within it. I managed to turn out most of the worst bits. And so it is more of an ornament then a drinking glass. It was finished using some bee's wax produced locally, after some very light sanding to 180 grit as I wanted a natural looking finish.
