Project Information

This is my first bowl! It was the product of a woodturniing class that I took this weekend at my local Woodcraft store.

The wood was a piece of silver maple that was provided as part of the class. The finish started with walnut oil and then a friction polish was applied to give it a bit more shine.

I also added a picture of the mallet which was the first project we finished in this class. The mallet is rock maple with a BLO and wax finish.

Thanks for looking. :)

Yes, I totally agree about being hooked. I was never focused on bowl turning specifically, but now that I have done one, I want to do MORE! :D

The wood was Silver Maple provided as part of the class. I really loved the grain and coloring.

Thanks everyone!
