Project Information

After taking Bass Guitar lessons for a while, I decided I wanted a 5 string bass. What better way for a woodworker to get one, than to make it.-------A few mistakes along the way, but a great learning experience. It does sound and play well though.

Zebrawood, Walnut, and Purpleheart-----Custom Walnut knobs----The neck was ordered from Warmoth

good work. i have recently made a guitar and found it quite hard to cut the frets accurately and to get intonation right. the finish looks great , much nicer than mine…

Comment #2 GREAT JOB!!! I am interested in finding out what type of electronics you put into the guitar… very cool body style did you imitate another guitar design or is it all original?
