Project Information

My first attempt at a band-saw box. Block was made as a simple checker pattern with 2" square walnut and oak strips. The overall box is is roughly 6" deep and about 4" wide in a simple oval cut shape. I used a piece of scrap oak to make an oval pull (matching the shape of the box face). For finish, I used a homemade 4:1 tung oil:beeswax finishing paste.
