Nice job on the woodworking aspect of the table, but the color doesn't do anything for me. Maybe it is the picture itself. I just feel that these types of Greene & Greene projects should be either stained a little darker brownish color or made with a darker wood.
Maybe it's just me. Sorry if my comment offends you.

Its spruce and pine. Stuff I found in the garage.

No offence Dremelman . . . I am unable to "finish" projects as my wife has allegeries to chemicals. I have used coco and tumeric (yep the stuff you eat) to colour other projects, but Im letting this one "age".

I will experiment with other darker\coloured woods now that I have gained a few more skills.

Well FINALLY someone notices . . . tks oscorner.

I spent 3 1/2 hours selecting and organizing the specific stones to lay the table on. Im glad someone noticed :)
