I finally finished a few more goblets. Like the first one I did, these are cherry bases. The first one was made as a gift, these I'm thinking of selling.

those look purrrrty, what finish did u use?

I used Mylands High Build Friction Polish on the wood, the tops are ceramic so they were glazed and fired.

Very nice. I just discovered Myland's, it really kicks the results up a notch.

Nice job. I was looking at the tops and said they shure don't look like wood. Glad my eyes wern't playing tricks on me.

A nice multi medium project.

Yeah, Mylands is great, I've also usedShellawax by Penn State Industries (http://www.pennstateind.com/) with similar results.
