Project Information

These two clock boxes have used up the last of my Birdseye Maple (except for some scraps).
Clocks seem to sell well at the galleries and shows and for me they are fun and very easy to make.
These are 12×7-3/4×5".
I don't particularly like shiny hinges and could only find piano hinges in either chrome or brass, so I took those and sandblasted the hinges and sealed them. I like the gray look much better.
The Maple finish is 10 coats of satin lacquer with the final coat sanded @ 1000 grit paper to eliminate as much shine as possible.

That look great, and a good storage area to boot. Well done.
