Project Information

I know there's probably too many for one pic but here they are. Some of these boxes are my designs, some come from those I've seen online just from drawing them out on paper. The one in the back row, middle, is Carmichael Design and came from his own pattern download (I changed it up a little). Several boxes are a mix of pine and cypress. A couple are made from walnut, a few are from maple with purple heart and walnut added in. Finishes are 2 coats of danish oil and then 3 coats of spray lacquer. I fell in love with lacquer on these because unlike poly they finish out more natural and less plastic looking. Thanks for looking.

A very nicely done group of boxes. Happy people this Christmas. I like the idea of the clock.

Great variety… Is the one in the left front a chicken, squirrel, or what? Inquiring minds want to know.
Nicely done.

It's realy hard to decide which one is beter than other. Maybe the drunk one in last row and the one with the clock. The first on the left also has beautiful shape.

I like the back center best, but I like them all. Hoping to get time sometime soon to try these. It will be a whole new experience.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. One of the things I like most about this site is the positive comments folks make. Rarely have I seen a negative statement. Always great words of encouragement and advice for the novice or the senior woodworker.
