Project Information

I finished my mobile workstation today. I designed it to provide additional work area with lots of clamping options. But mainly, I wanted a place to set up my dovetail jig or the pocket hole jig. The dovetail jig stores on the middle shelf and there is a small area for glue bottles. The lower shelf looks like it will now be home to my 4 inch dust collection hose when it is not needed.

I wrote a blog documenting the build with lots of additional pics.
Hope you like it.

Great little workstation. Looks like you made it very sturdy.

I'm curious about that ram you have mounted to your Kreg. Very cool!

Wow great looking work station mike, very solid and practical design. You should get a lot of use out of that.
Excellent job.

I was curious about the air hoses and what that is for. Looks like a well built unit that will serve you well. My only thought to the design would be to raise the coiled electrical cord up to the glue bottle location so you don't have to bend over so much to wrap it up. As I get older I tend to think in those terms more often…sigh.

That looks like a affordable and well designed work table .
Like all the clamping possibilities that will make it very versatile and the power bar is a great idea also .

And now for an update. I am building some drawer fronts for some cabinets that are going into my mom's kitchen.
Just call me the "Happy Clamper"! I am loving this cart.
