Project Information

Here is a nice sized utility/outfeed table for my small mobile shop. I used some "made in china" Birch Ply, glue and screws. It's on 3" poly casters. I did a quick sand and then wiped on several coats of poly and then a layer of paste wax on the top. The top is slick, slick.

Creature comforts include magnetic bars on each end and an attached 30' rubber hose and wheel for the air compressor. I did buy leg levelers, but the garage floor ended up being sloped perfectly for the table, whereas it is below the ts surface and then slopes up.

I now have the ability to rip full sheets of ply - safely and on my own if needed. Since this was my first project utilizing my tools, I learned a lot by making a lot of mistakes. The last pic shows a dust deputy cart that I threw together out of scraps. I haven't finished it yet, but it had to be put to use asap.

Looks good man, I need one bad, I always have to ask my wife to help hold big sheet goods. I wanna design mine like the Wood Whisper's assemble table but put casters on it and use it as both. Looks good, keep up the good work and keep us posted with pic of the shop too!
