Project Information

A pair of mission style mantel clocks. Design is definitely influenced by some of TJ Cross' work. Overall size is approximately 12" tall, 10.5" wide, and 4.5" deep, with M&T joinery. The tiles are from Motawi Tileworks. Made of QSWO. I'm starting to play around with ammonia fuming. The rose is fumed for 18 hrs, and the dragonfly is a standard stained finish. I'm making my own dials now. They are solid copper, which is etched, painted, heat treated (for color), and then sealed.

Try String Summit (nothing like a Grateful Dead concert). There's a guy there every year with the same type of bird as yours - way cool.

The clocks - one is now with my mom in Mexico and the other with my son at college in Utah.
