I really do hate redoak…..........
The pieces just never seem to match after staining. It was minwax Puritan Pine.
But, it was the only choice I had until the local hardwood supplier returns.
I built this as a Christmas present for my Mom. Found out the secret of a stress free Christmas a few years ago. "Don't bother going out trying to find the perfect thing to buy, just build something…............anything. They will love it.
Even if the stained pieces don't match.
