Very nice. I could use four of them around here to replace our missmatched hand-me-down stuff.
Where did you get the plans?
That may be a project I would like to tackle.

This is a very nice project. I really like the design on the piece as well. How did you finish it?

Thanks for the post.

That's a great chair.

Did you do the upholstry or did you hire that out?

Very nice. I second the question about the upholstry.

Yes, this is the Kevin Rodel chair. Got the plans at finewoodworking.com. Caveat: a couple of the measurements were off; I notified them, and they verified. The plans might be corrected now.

I just built the one for a friend. He gives me money for the lumber, and I build it (what a guy, huh?!). The finish is a water-based dye, which is very nice to work with. Topped off with semi-gloss poly. My wife did the cushion, but the plans tell you how to do it….

The pyramid shaped pins at the top of each post are made of Ipe….interesting to make the little buggers.

Hey Pashley,
I have the Rodel plans from Fine Woodworking as well. What were the errors?
Thanks, you might save me a headache!
