I am surprised that I am the first to comment on this project. What a beautiful stool. Ah that didn't come out right. Ah I didn't like what I wrote there either. What I mean is that this is a beautiful seating design without a back and arms. I really like the contrast of the walnut and maple. I think usually the woods are reversed with Walnut as the seat and Maple as the legs, so this really is original, at least to my eyes. I also like the wedges of maple in the walnut legs - the whole design is really great.

It is a nice looking stool.

The milk stools I used (as a teenager) only had one leg and strapped on you rear end with a belt around your waste so you didn't have to carry it from one cow (or goat) to another. Then machines took over and it wasn't needed. Hurray!
