Project Information

Thought I would try something different (really different). I was given a slab of mesquite by a friend and I thought it would make a great rustic or western style window display table. The pictures show the results.

The top is inlayed with turquoise in some of the bigger holes and cracks. The finish is lacquer and the legs I left the bark on one side. It is about 3 feet long and 1.5 feet wide at its fullest point. The top turned out really nice I think. The top's edges are natural with the bark left on The legs are different and I cannot decide if I like them or not, but it was the only wood I had that would match.
