Project Information

Mesquite table-Now That I have gotten good pictures I want to show everyone.This table is Mesquite with a Walnut/Maple bentwood curved line sandwiched in between two halves of the table.The joinery close up is under the table were the legs come together. The pedistal base is all carved and hand shaped. There is turquoise inlayed into the natural cracks.

This came up again on the shuffle. Very nice Maloof stlye table I like th mesquite, walnut, maple combo.

Man oh man is this sweet work Scott. This site is getting so busy I must have missed it the first time around. Just beautiful woodworking (as always).

How did you get that curved lamination to nest so perfectly between the two "halves" of the top. Did you bandsaw the top to remove the right amount of material? Or did you use a router?
