Project Information

This ash media center has a General Finishes Java Gel Stain top and bottom. The middle section is unstained with a GF water based Urethane finish. The top is made from 3 pieces of 8/4 stock. My cnc router did the edge cuts which guaranteed perfect edge gluing. Slight warping of the top was handled by using my cnc to shave 1/8 inch off. I love my cnc :>)

And my wife loves my projects. She has a list of future projects a mile long. Job security!

I have a model crp4896 from www.cncrouterparts.com. It is a "do it yourself" kit. Inexpensive and very easy to put together with the bonus that if anything ever goes wrong with it you'll be able to fix it yourself.

Nice work, love the grain in the doors. I made one similar to this with some changes to the plans out of the book when published. Either Wood magazine or shopnotes cant remember. The contrast in colors is really nice. The good thing about the wife liking you making her stuff is they dont mind you buying tools. Smile.

Looks great, I love the grain of the ash. I know what you mean about having a long list of home projects…sometimes I wonder what I'll do once I get to the end of the list….
